Shaft Hub Connections

Whatever needs to be fixed to a shaft—we have the perfect component. Whether the connection is internal, lateral, or external, our portfolio offers a wide range of variants tailored to each application. With easy and quick assembly, high availability, and cost-effective pricing, our locking devices, shrink discs, and locking elements from KBK provide a superior alternative to traditional keyway connections. Additionally, all products are available with optional chemical nickel plating or in stainless steel. Upon request, special stainless steels such as AISI 304 or AISI 316 can also be provided.

KBS10

This product range stands out due to its exceptionally large installation height relative to its outer diameter. Additionally, it offers high torque transmission, self-centering capabilities, and ensures no axial displacement during assembly.

KBS11

The classic powerhouse for high torques. When other locking devices reach their limits, this self-centering three-part design excels.

KBS13

This short, compact, and reliable design is widely used in standard applications.

KB15

This series allows for different shaft diameters while maintaining a constant outer diameter.

KBS16

Designed with a flange connection to prevent axial displacement, this coupling is especially popular in material handling and pulley applications.

KBS18

The compact high-torque version saves space and self-centers, while the robust three-part locking device withstands bending moments.

KBS19

Our three-piece shrink disc securely holds a shaft within a hollow shaft, making it ideal for applications like gearboxes. It covers all torque ranges and is also available in a half or split version.

KBS19/1

This two-piece shrink disc is self-centering and highly resistant to environmental influences, making it a robust choice even for demanding applications.

KBS40

The shortest locking device in our range fits nearly anywhere. Its non-self-centering design allows for high fitting tolerance compensation, and it features a self-releasing mechanism.

KBS50

This version of locking elements provides solutions for even the tightest spaces. We're happy to assist you in selecting the right pressure flanges and spacer rings.

KBS51

Featuring quick assembly with a centrally located nut and a compact design, this is an excellent alternative locking device for low torques.

KBS52

This special locking device features a smaller outer diameter than standard versions while maintaining a highly compact length.

KBS55

This design prioritizes quick assembly and is virtually unmatched for large components with extremely thin walls.

KBS56

A quick-clamping device for small diameters and low torques, designed to accommodate high fitting tolerances.

KBS57

A slim and compact version that is easy to install and typically made of stainless steel—an excellent choice for the food industry.

KBS58

The KBS 58 is a timeless locking device, offering an optimal balance of size, torque transmission, and easy assembly. It also features corrosion protection with a zinc-nickel coating.

KBS59

This series is ideal when counteracting the hub is challenging. The locknut version significantly simplifies installation.

KBS61

A highly compact locking device for shaft diameters as small as 5 mm. Its excellent centering and closed construction make it a popular choice for high-performance applications like packaging technology.

KBS62

The KBS 62 is a versatile locking device, uniquely designed to accommodate two gearwheels. This version is highly effective at absorbing bending moments.

KBS70

A standard component with a long design for low contact pressure, offering self-centering capabilities and high torque capacity.

KBS71

This thin-walled component is easy to handle thanks to its low contact pressure. Axial displacement during assembly can be prevented with an additional spacer ring.

KBS80

The most compact locking device features a sleek, self-centering design that prevents axial displacement during assembly while efficiently transmitting torque.

KBS95

The KBS 95 stands out among cone-locking devices as a rigid shaft coupling, perfectly complementing our KBST and KBST-G series.
